New Concerts website live

The latest website to migrate to the Web CMS is the University Concerts Series, which was launched last week to coincide with the start of the new season, and the recent release of their revamped printed materials.

As well as full details of a huge range of upcoming concerts, there's also the facility to book on line, so check it out and discover something new.

New student support web pages

Yesterday, just in time for the start of the new academic year, we published almost 200 new web pages for students covering all sorts of support information, from finding housing to getting along with housemates, support for students with disabilities to managing finances, looking after health and wellbeing to support for international students.

The pages are all thanks to some excellent work by staff in Student Support Services to update their information and migrate it to the new Web CMS.

This redevelopment is the first significant milestone we've reached as part of the big ongoing project to rebuild administrative and support information as a new user-centred site. There's lots to do and it's going to take a long time to get it all done, but I hope these new pages start to show why it will be worth all the effort.
